Instant Feldenkrais Back Pain Relief

Several months ago, I created a survey asking women what their most important questions were about back pain during pregnancy. Here's a summation of what they wrote:

1. How can I relieve the discomfort, stop the pain and make myself more comfortable?

2. Can I take painkillers while pregnant and should I take time off from work to heal the back pain?

3. What are good exercises to relieve the pain?
4. Why do I get it?

5. How bad will back pain be be during pregnancy?

6. Does the back pain make you feel restless or have no sleep?

Let's take a few minutes and discuss some of those concerns.

As you can see a variety of concerns came up. First, let's be clear that every women does NOT experience back pain during pregnancy. It is entirely possible to never get back pain while pregnant. In addition, many women will get slight symptoms that they describe as discomfort or tightness and not pain.

As far as "why" someone might get pain during pregnancy, keep in mind that your body is undergoing many types of stress during pregnancy. Let's take a moment and talk about the cause of pregnancy back pain.
